Gatsby is basically all CGI, you heard it here first.
Now I know what you’re thinking, is the whole film done in CGI? It isn’t thankfully, but it certainly has a it’s fair share of scenes that you wouldn’t normally think was CGI.
Recently the visual effects supervisor for The Great Gatsby posted a stunning video displaying exactly how much of the film was done in CGI.
“Gatsby” is not the only film to offer a glimpse into its effects’ editing process. David Fincher’s 2007 thriller “Zodiac” has since provided the same insight, and “Iron Man 3” recently unveiled a storyboard sequence that detailed how Tony Stark’s mansion-attack scene went from concept to execution.
