HDR Composite/Exposure In A Mountain Valley

This is what happens when you leave camera shutter open for 10 minutes

HDR toning + 10 minute exposure can produce excellent results

This photograph is a composite, the clue is in the clouds.

Still a very nice photograph.

The technique is similar. HDR involves taking multiple exposures and then compositing the different levels so that everything seems to be at the same exposure.
This image is a composite as well, with a shorter exposure to capture the clouds and a longer exposure to capture the light trail through the mountains. The longer exposure also makes the mountains a bit brighter as well since the sensor has more time to absorb light.
